Punjab Haryana High Court Clerk Exam Pattern 2017-18 

Exam Pattern : Exam Pattern for the Clerk Main Exam is as Follows:-
Written Exam will be based on Multiple Choice Question(MCQ)/Objective Type.
The written Exam consist following subjects..
(a). English Composition carrying 50 Marks
(b). General Knowledge carrying 50 Marks.
There will be Computer Typing Test in the clerk exam.
There will be a negative marking in objective type Questions of 1/4th Marks for each                         wrong Answer.
Cut Off: 33% in each portion and 40% marks in the aggregate of both subjects.
Candidates who had applied for the posts and are found eligible by the recruitment board will be able to take a seat in the preliminary examination. The paper pattern shall be as per following:
This test will be having objective type questions only.
Total 100 questions shall be in the high court clerk paper.
Due to negative evaluation, 0.25 Mark/wrong answer will be cut from the score.
The duration of this examination is 2 Hours.

Further Selection Process for Clerks in Punjab Haryana High Court

Once the written examination is done, the Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) shall take place. Qualifying the CPT is essential but marks from the computer test won’t be added to the final merit list. It is a qualifying nature test. CPT has two parts: The First Part is Word Processing Test in which candidates need to clear the Computer Typing Test with speed of 30 Words per Minute in English. The Part II is Spread Sheet Test.
