Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will hold an All India Open
Competitive Examination for recruitment to the posts of Stenographer Grade ‘C’
and Grade ‘D’. The written test of Stenographer will be conducted on 11 to
14 Sept 2017.

Stenographer Admit Card :
Admission certificates (ACs) for the
examination indicating the time table and also venues of examination will be
issued to all applicants about two weeks before the date of examination. If any
candidate does not receive admission certificate for the examination one week
before the date of examination, he/she must immediately contact the concerned
regional/sub regional office of the commission with proof of having submitted
his/her application (in case of applications submitted under certificate of
posting, the date-stamp of the post-office concerned should be clearly
legible). Failure to do so will deprive him/her of any claim for consideration.

The revised syllabus for SSC STENOGRAPHER 2017 was
released by SSC in its notification. The syllabus for SSC STENOGRAPHER is
different for both the stages of examination and it is mandatory for students
to know the entire syllabus in order to prepare effectively for SSC
STENOGRAPHER 2017. General Awareness, General Intelligence/Reasoning
and English Language are the three major sections a candidate need to

Criteria:
•The minimum Educational
Qualification required by a candidate is to be at least 12th
pass from a recognized Board or University. He/She must be able to
produce the required documents when asked for verification after qualifying SSC
Stenographer 2017 Exam.
•A candidate must lie in the age
domain of 18-27 years to be eligible for SSC Stenographer 2017 exam.
Important Details:
- Admission Certificates for SSC Stenographer 2017 has been made available for all candidates who have successfully submitted their application.
- The Admit Card will not be sent by post.
- If a candidate is unable to download their Admit Card for appearing in the examination one week before the date of examination must immediately contact the concerned regional/sub regional office of the Commission with details such as registration ID, Transaction ID of SBI, Copy of challan etc for obtaining the Admit Card.
- Candidates should carry at least one original photo ID such as Voter’s ID, Aadhaar Card, Driving License, ID Cards to the examination centre along with the Admit Card. Candidates without such ID Cards will not be allowed to enter the examination hall/skill test venues.
- Candidates must carry 3 passport size photographs for affixing it in the Admit Card in the presence of Invigilator. Candidates not carrying photographs will not be allowed to appear in the examination. Candidate are advised to keep 10 copies of the same photograph, which was uploaded/affixed in the application form, with them till the completion of entire examination process.
